Tim Berners-Lee may well be my new hero.

I find myself at a philosophical dillemma...I love the information age, even with all of the rubbish that gets published. I think that science and technology could thrive once we find a way too weed through all of the overflow.

At the same time, I say bring on the rubbish. For Information professionionals its' good news that it's easy to publish documents, we need job security! At the same time this is an opportunity to create a system to optimize digital information. I hope to learn more about that end of digital technology.

After years of checking network switches, pinging unresponsive machines through command prompt, and playing with applications, it will be good to dicover the new frontier of harnessing buried information.
