So after years of studying English, I got my diploma after analyzing literature and said to myself "so what!" I mean, I was knew how to read, so what did I really get out of this other than a ticket to grad school?
Two weeks into my MLIS program, I learned that dashes and other sorts of symbols are illegal characters in LINUX. My coworker has been trying to FTP her web page update, and it wouldn't post the picture.
After looking into the directories (making sure eveything is transferred properly), I saw a dash in the picture's file name. Then I thought "Dreamweaver, isn't that LINUX like Apple?" I delete the dashes and viola! Five minutes and it's fixed. It's so nice to get an education that applies in the real world!
